Top Four Trends For Fall Brides
As the leaves begin to change and the seasons shift, so do the trending styles of the wedding industry! Fall brings a heavy emphasis on boho bridal style. Old-world glamour, classic silhouettes and vintage flair are the focus of this season’s style. Fall brides, we’ve forecasted the top trends from the latest collections for your upcoming nuptials:
BILLOWY SLEEVES
We’re loving voluminous, billowy sleeves this season; but fall doesn’t always mean cooler temperatures. All Who Wander’s latest collection included this gorgeous pairing: the Raine gown and Neve jacket. What’s better than two looks in one? This lace and tulle A-line wedding dress is sweeter than your average lace gown. A mix of organic-shaped leaves and dainty blooms replaces traditional floral detailing for a natural masterpiece, forming figure-flattering patterns over the sheer bodice to really enhance the figure. Adding the ultimate romantic vibe to your dreamy look, this sheer piece delivers sheer extravagance with its translucent ivory tulle fabric and floating leaf patterns to create a true organic effect throughout. The statement bell sleeves taper at the wrist, amplifying the volume of the billowing fabric and movement of the leaf designs–transcending traditional bridal style with a true All Who Wander twist.
BOW DETAILS
Just as statement-making as sleeves but a bit more feminine, bows are back. The minimalist, chic and preppy addition will elevate your bridal style! Martina Liana’s Fall 2020 collection includes this sleek fit-and-flare, Style #1254. It’s crafted with a rich silk Zibeline fabric for a defined structure, complementing the slim silhouette effortlessly. A V-neckline with shoestring straps is clean and fresh, as it opens the décolletage for a gorgeous highlight to the upper body. Visible seaming throughout the gown shapes and sculpts the figure, and the wide open back is both daring and timeless. The detachable bow feature is crafted in matching silk Zibeline fabric, adding a fun and flirty twist with opulent texture to this otherwise simple style.
MINIMALISM
Speaking of understated elegance – Essense of Australia’s new collection featured a clean and modern Dove satin ballgown that we can’t stop swooning over! Style #D3080 has the most fashion forward silhouette. A seemingly simple design, there’s more to it than meets the eye when you make your grand entrance. The curved V-neckline and shoestring straps are enough to make any minimalist fall in love, not to mention the hidden skirt pockets to send you completely head over heels. The back detail is the real piece of resistance, as the classic V-back is framed by sheer illusion paneling with exposed boning–making this dress truly fashion-forward and one of its kind.
BOLD EMBELLISHMENTS
Totally on the opposite end of the style spectrum (but equally on-trend) we have bold embellishments! If simple isn’t your cup of tea, then this trend is your glass of champagne! Stella York’s #7082 is the epitome of unique detail. This incredibly detailed lace and tulle combination Wedding dresses San Antonio is summery, beach-inspired beauty at its finest! Soft laces are mixed with linear graphic patterns to create an intricate and completely unique effect, complemented by subtle beadwork and leafy florals cascading throughout. The banding along the plunge and straps creates a uniquely curved, flattering neckline that is also mirrored in the linear banding that falls about the hips to elongate the frame.

Burgundy, Navy, And Ivory Fall Wedding By Kate Elizabeth Photography
Just as fate intended, the couple tied the knot in a dreamy outdoor garden ceremony surrounded by 120 of their loved ones. For the reception, velvet place cards in a color palette of navy, burgundy, and ivory and velvet linens played a critical role in their fall wedding. “The color was a representation of the type of entree that had been picked,” explains Jessica. “My mother’s name in Vietnamese translates to velvet, so I wanted to pay homage to that. EB Inc. Event Rentals & Design was able to make my velvet dreams come true, and we were able to have ivory and red velvet linens for our tables.” Guests dined on steak churrasco and lemon rosemary chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and haricot verts before hitting the dancefloor. To pay homage to Jessica’s Vietnamese culture, the newlyweds surprised guests with a Lion Dance performance and Jessica wore a traditional Vietnamese dress. Jessica and Andrew’s biggest obstacle while planing their fall wedding was having to narrow down the vendors they went with. Says Jessica: “I really built some amazing relationships with the people in the wedding industry and there is so much talent and love that fuels into our special day. I wish I could’ve hired everyone I met at the I Do! Soiree.” Join us in celebrating this sweet couple and swooning over their gorgeous fall wedding, all beautifully documented by Houston wedding photographer Kate Elizabeth Photography and Houston wedding videographer Wedding dresses Houston. Congratulations, Jessica & Andrew!
